NOV-IE1500 PV Insulation & Earth Continuity Tester (1500 V)
1500 V insulation tester for PV systems. Measures positive and negative pole-to-earth insulation at the same time, locates ground faults inside a string, and checks protective-earth continuity at 200 mA, with no plant shutdown needed.
Insulation faults are among the most common causes of inverter trips and lost yield in PV plants. The NOV-IE1500 finds them fast. In DUAL mode it measures the insulation resistance of both poles to earth in a single test, with no external shorting switch. GFL mode then pinpoints the faulty module or connector inside the string. RPE mode checks protective-earth continuity at 200 mA, and PI / DAR indices show whether insulation is ageing. Clear OK / NO verdicts make results easy for any technician to interpret.
